SO GOOD!! The brisket is amazing, their bbq sauce is perfect, and the baked beanssss are you kidding??? The food here is delicious:) definitely a hole in the wall restaurant but you can smell the BBQ from the parking lot! They got that southern hospitality and quality food for sure 10/10 recommend
Smokey , ample and delicious meats . A small town favorite in the Bellwood area of North Little Rock. Lunch specials, fresh cooked french fries and cold iced tea . Catfish is on point , links are good too . Two of the nicest counter help I have had the pleasure of seeing on a regular basis for my bbq fix . A must stop weekly kind of place . This place is to go only no seating . $

Visiting from out of town and seen this cute little BBQ shack, I had to stop by. The sweetest lady with a lovely Southern accent, took my order. I ordered the brisket plate with fried okra and baked beans. I appreciate the barbecue sauce served on the side, it was just the right amount of food. I'm not a fan of baked beans, but I finish these quickly. so delicious- not too sweet, and not watery. The fried okra came out just right nice crunchy on the outside and soft okra on the inside. There was plenty of brisket, although it was a little on the dry side, but with some bbq on it, it was fine.
Let me start by saying that this food is fire! Ray is the chef behind the food! The Mac n cheese is a work of art. There are many other wonderful yummy things that this man can offer all week, too! The little roadside building doesn't offer much as far as seating, but it's packed with a friendly chef and folks filling orders. They stay busy, so make sure you call it in or prepare to wait. The wait is well worth it!
Looking for a funky road side authentic BBQ and southern cooking: Mick's. We order the BBQ Pork sandwich and catfish combo, met expectations and recommend it. Take care in the ordering, had difficulty in getting the order right, something lost in translation.
